What the Kit Contains

Operation and Everyday Use
Once installed and levelled, height adjustment is straightforward. Press and hold the downward arrow to lower the frame or the upward arrow to raise it. The drive speed reduces as the system approaches its upper or lower limit.
The controls are intended for short positioning movements rather than continuous operation. Do not operate the lift for more than one minute at a time; allow at least nine minutes for the drive motors and control electronics to rest before operating it again.
BERNINA also specifies a minimum clearance of 51mm between the moving working area and nearby objects. Before operating the lift, check that walls, furniture, cables, hydraulic tubes and other equipment will not restrict movement or create a pinching hazard.
Installation Considerations
Installation involves more than replacing a set of adjustable feet. On an existing frame, the machine and carriage must be removed, parts of the rail assembly must be taken off, and the frame must be carefully supported while the original legs are removed. The hydraulic cylinders, pumps, control units, cables and switch are then mounted and the completed frame levelled in its final position.

- Allow suitable working access around the full Classic or Large PRO Frame.

- Fully lower the lift before any permitted movement of the frame.

Care and Maintenance
For routine cleaning, lower the system fully, disconnect it from power and allow the components to cool. BERNINA recommends removing dust and dirt from the cylinders, pumps, control units, tubes and cables monthly with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or high-pressure cleaning equipment, and reconnect the power only after every component is dry.
Cables and hydraulic tubes should be checked periodically for wear or damage. Servicing and replacement of electrical or hydraulic components should be arranged through an authorised BERNINA dealer or technician.
Is This the Right Upgrade for Your Quilting Room?
