Accessory and bobbin compatibility
The BERNINA 325 is a 5.5 mm machine with a CB Hook system . Bobbins, bobbin cases, stitch plates and some presser-foot accessories are specific to the machine’s hook and stitch-width system; they should not be selected solely because they carry the BERNINA name.
- Use bobbins specified for BERNINA CB Hook machines.
- Check that optional presser feet are approved for the BERNINA 325 and its 5.5 mm stitch width.
- Do not substitute BERNINA Jumbo Bobbins intended for machines with the BERNINA Hook.
- Confirm compatibility before reusing accessories from an older BERNINA, even when the attachment looks similar.

Can the BERNINA 325 Gen 2 be used for quilting?
