Featuring your artwork on Two Petals is a simple and straightforward process, and we welcome artists of all levels and backgrounds to participate.

To get started, simply visit our website and fill out our artist submission form. We’ll review your submission and get back to you as soon as possible. If your work aligns with our brand and values, we’ll work with you to create a custom design featuring your artwork. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with us throughout the design process to ensure that your artwork is presented in the best possible light.

How it works:

  • EARN – Each month, we’ll pay you the commissions from all items featuring your designs.

Commission:

As an artist whose work is featured on our website, you will receive a commission for each item sold featuring your artwork. We value the creative contributions of our artists, and are proud to offer a standard commission rate of 10% of the full retail price for every item sold, regardless of any discounts, promotions or free shipping offered.

In addition, we recognize and appreciate the dedication and talent of our top-performing artists. Therefore, we also offer bonuses commissions for artists who consistently perform well and generate high sales. At Two Petals, we believe in fair compensation for your hard work and creativity, and we strive to create a mutually beneficial partnership with all of our artists.

For tax purposes (boring I know) we will need you to have an ABN to ensure that we are complying with our tax obligations.

The Artist Agreement:

Here is a copy of the agreement that we have with our artists:

This Artist Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into as of the date of acceptance by the Artist (“Effective Date”) by and between Two Petals (“Company”) and the undersigned artist (“Artist”).

  1. Services.
    Artist agrees to provide Company with the non-exclusive right to use and reproduce artwork created by the Artist (“Artwork”) for the purpose of producing, marketing, and selling products featuring the Artwork on Company’s website and through other sales channels. Artist shall have final approval over any and all uses of the Artwork, and no Artwork shall be used without Artist’s prior written approval.
  2. Compensation.
    Company shall pay Artist a commission of 10% of the full retail price (excluding GST amount) for each item sold on Company’s website featuring the Artwork. In addition, Artist shall receive bonus compensation as follows: an additional 1% of the commission amount if the base commission payment is between $300-$999, 3% if the base commission payment is between $1000-$1499, and 5% if the base commission payment is $1500 or more. Company shall provide a monthly report to Artist detailing the number of items sold and the amount of commission owed. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of the end of each month in which sales occurred.
  3. Pricing & Promotions
    Company shall determine the retail price of all products featuring the Artist’s artwork, in its sole discretion. The Company may, in its sole discretion, change the retail price and run promotions, sales or offer discount at any time without prior notice to the Artist. The Artist acknowledges and agrees that the retail price may be higher or lower than the price the Artist would have set for the product if the Artist were selling the product independently.
  4. Product Descriptions
    Company reserves the right to make changes to the product description and other information related to the sale of items, including but not limited to price, description, and images. These changes may be made at any time without prior notice to the Artist. Such changes may be made to improve SEO, marketing, or for other purposes related to the sale of items on the Company’s website.
  5. Product Returns & Refunds
    The Company shall be obligated to pay the Artist the commission for any products sold on its website, regardless of whether such products are later returned or refunded. In the event that a product is returned or refunded, the Comany may sell that product as a used item at a discount to cover its costs, and the Artist shall not be entitled to any additional commission on such sales.
  6. Ownership.
    Artist retains all rights and ownership to the Artwork, including any intellectual property rights therein. Company shall have no right or license to use the Artwork except as provided in this Agreement.
  7. Representations and Warranties.
    Artist represents and warrants that: (a) Artist is the sole owner of the Artwork and has the right to enter into this Agreement; (b) the Artwork does not infringe the rights of any third party; (c) Artist has obtained all necessary permissions and releases to license the Artwork to Company; and (d) licensing the Artwork to Company does not infringe the trademark or copyright of any third party. Artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to any breach of the foregoing representations and warranties.
  8. Term and Termination.
    Termination. This Agreement may be terminated by either party upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, all rights granted to Company under this Agreement shall revert to Artist, and Company shall cease all use of the Artwork. Termination shall not affect any obligations of either party arising prior to the effective date of termination.
  9. Governing Law.
    This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
  10. Entire Agreement.
    This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements.
